Quilt Card

I have these drawers setup for scrap card stock. Divided by color. Anything smaller than a 12×12 but bigger than a deck of cards gets saved. I’m getting over run with blues & greens so this card was made with scrap blues.

Using Creative Memories hexagon maker I punched out several patterns of blue papers. I ran them through Xyron create-a-sticker to add adhesive to the backs of each then it was just like putting a puzzle together. To make it look more like a quilt I used a Micron 05 pen and dashed around each of the hexagons. This doesn’t take as much time as you would think. I thought about adding a sentiment to the front using Pop dots but didn’t. Maybe next time.

I kept the inside simple & using blue ink stamped the sentiment (Stamp by Stampabilities www.craftsect.com I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby in GA)

  1. Very effective. I like your storage solution. I often find other people are more organised than me. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Janet. I’m not that rganised just in some areas. If you could see my desk top you would see I have so much stuff pilled up that I basicly have just a 12×12 space to work 🙂 Thanks so much for your feedback. Have a great day.
