Brighten Your Day

For Dave CopelandI started out stamping the Cardigan Corgi’s. When cutting out stamps leave a small amount of white arround the sides. Don’t cut directly on the line. Next I made the flower. I cut two pieces of paper three inches wide. I then used a Marth Stewart border punch along the edges. I scored the papers & then glued them together. There is a lot of pressure on them to stay folded so glue is best to use. I glued the middle as I bunched it together to make the flower. Once dry I added the button to the middle to hide the hole & glue. Forgot to put the floss in the middle of the button. The back ground paper was also cut with a Marth Steward border bunch. I ran the back ground paper through the Zyron to attach to adhesive so the hearts don’t come up. Made that mistake before.

Sentiment stamp is by Great Expressions. The paper used is the back side of the paper I used on the front of the card so they match.

This card goes out to Dave Copeland. We worked together & he has been in the hospital for some time. I hope this card will cheer him up a little. Prayers for Dave’s health.
