Non Fru Fru Valentine’s Card

I made this Valentine’s Day card for my husband. He doesn’t like Fru Fru things so it needed to be masculine. So I started with black card stock & placed a piece of off white dry wall tape across. Then using my Sizzix I cut out the hearts & used the Cricut Storybook cartridge for the letters in his name. I attached this with Zyron.

Inside I stamped Happy Valentine’s day using a Great Impressions stamp. I stamped the dog with a Craft Smart stamp I got at Michaels for just a dollar. I smeared  the ink when I attached it to the red background paper so I colored the dog with a gray watercolor pencil by Staedtler. However when blending using water pen a big spot of water came out & smeared the ink. Couldn’t win on that one. The dog & background was die cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Labels. The I love you dearly stamp is by Anna Griffin.

God Bless.
